I can’t see anything with the new blur! Waisting money on blurry calls and this is my only way to see my loved ones!

App was great until I just did the latest update did a video call it ended went to messages and nothing was there sent a message and it just disappeared and I can’t see any messages now at all they are all gone and don’t show up

This is the worst app I have ever used it can never even pull up my user name and password my family has been in jail for over A week now with no communication what so ever it’s extremely frustrating I put 5 dollars on the act. And still haven’t been able to make it work I am highly upset and they should take this sit down

I’ve been sending video messages for 9 months and now they won’t go through, which is the only way to send a message since text messaging is not allowed at this facility. I have contacted support by email several times only to get the runaround. I’ve been on the phone with support several times only to have nothing done. I really wish there was another app that we could use!

Absolutely trash. No explenations for everything and bugs / freeze every 2 seconds. Can’t even connect with anyone. And then told me my account has been disabled due to no id or photo even tho I have an id and photo on the system. Trash. Absolutely trash

Everything was great until yesterday now I can’t even send voice messages anymore please fix

Super glitchy. It says text messages cost 3 cents each, but it seems to deduct random amounts from my balance whenever it wants. I sent 7 texts so far and was charged $6.98. I emailed support, and they blew me off. Why are they allowed to have in-app purchases that don’t go through the App Store?

Y'all need to something about this app! You can't even connect with your love ones

This app keeps signing you out you have to constantly resign it and it is outrageous the pricing on here and how much it cost for so many letters or even for a vision and the en even when it don’t send it will still deduct money off the account and then when you email customer service you get no response back! This app is a rip Off and yeah sure it does the bare minimal but it’s trash

The only part of this app that works well is the part that takes your money. The rest is horribly buggy and broken. It barely works, but it’s the only choice you have for this purpose.

Okaloosa County Jail switched to this app, and it let me put in my information and provide funds just fine. However, when I try to schedule a visit or create a message I just get a blank screen for scheduling visits, and a perpetual loading screen for messages. Just more evidence that the powers that be do not care about human rights or the ethical treatment of human beings. All they care about is making money off of other people’s misfortune, bad circumstances, and/or suffering.

I have been trying to add money for 3 weeks. It says can’t retrieve data. I’ve tried everything but to no avail.

In order to provide pastoral care, I subscribed to HomeWAV about a month ago. I have funds on my account and deposited funds on an inmate’s account. I have called a couple of times. Service was not cordial. No calls have been completed! Buyer Beware!

I need some one give me a number or contact me. I’m new to this and I don’t like app can’t understand it nor get a human being to help me with it

App works great love that am able to communicate with my loved one… but unfortunately recently am not able to have any video visits it tells my BF that am not online and so we haven’t been able to visit… plz fix other than that I would give a 5 but until I am able to video visit I will be giving it a 2

This app was working ok…. Until the update, now he can’t call me like it barely works.

It wont work at all beyond seeing being able to see that my friend would like to talk to me. Edit: Seems to be working now!!! Thank you and it's a nice platform.

I created my account yesterday. Today is a new day and I can’t even login tried to send a password reset and the email isn’t even sending to me.

10/31/24 I spend a GREAT DEAL of money on here to be able to talk to my boyfriend and we get dropped calls and seriously bad connections on his end. I spend a lot of money to communicate with him, and the calls cut in and out constantly. Update 11/9/24 after getting absolutely no response from developers, it has gotten worse. Now I can’t even send “files”. Probably one of the worst communication apps I’ve ever encountered. Would give zero stars if it were an option. HUGE waste of time and money!!

Won’t connect can’t do anything ! Please fix I’ve added money to my account already ! Update : it’s been months , still no one has contacted me about my calls not going through. Haven’t spoke to my son in months . I’m hurting so bad.

Zero help from customer service and awful app set up

Please fix this app asap and update it. It’s my only communication with my boyfriend and it’s destroying us both right now. It closes immediately every time I open it.

Worked just fine for the first couple weeks and lately it either logs me out or will not let me look at messages, saying “coding error”. Ive had to delete the app several times now just to speak to a friend in jail. Ive used other apps that work much better than this one. Wish the developers would fix the issues on this app! It is so frustrating

Worst app I ever use!

This app cuts out the entire time you’re on the phone, regardless of WiFi/data/cell service. We have great WiFi at our house and every time I get a call, it cuts out the entire time. We can’t talk to each other when the phone is constantly breaking up and video freezing. On top of that, you pay money for these calls and you aren’t even getting to talk to your loved one.

I was able to use this app 2 times . Failed to retrieve data please try again later for days ! About to uninstall

So I just downloaded this app, took my picture, took a picture of my ID, wrote a note, sent a picture, and now it's telling me it's failing to let me login. I can see when my loved one sends a message but i cant even login? Can somebody please fix this issue or refund my money?

I’m extremely frustrated with HomeWAV. The app blurs out everything except faces during video calls, which means I can’t share important moments with my incarcerated loved one. Pets, babies, and even other family members not holding the phone close to their faces are all blurred out. It feels impersonal, and I can't even show them what's going on in our home. This background blurring feature ruins the experience—it's terrible. If you're hoping to connect meaningfully with your loved one, this app falls short. Not recommended.

When I receive an incoming call it constantly makes me log in again and then when I do it just says fetching data error but won’t let me sign in so I am missing calls! This system is very broken!!

This app doesn’t work how it supposed to , I’ve tried countless times to message someone and it won’t allow me to . It keeps saying updating but it just won’t work ………

This app is stealing your money. It does not make it easy to get your refund. 5.00 for a 1 minute call is unacceptable.

This app has kept me from family and friends for over 2 months now for suspending my account because they can’t verify my ID. Obviously it’s run by a bot and they need real human people to approve IDS this is ridiculous!

When I was trying to talk to my friend it becomes laggy and doesn’t allow him to hear me talk and when I put my money in and I call him it just a pointless cycle and then I have regularly call him without a virtual FaceTime.

They stole seven dollars from me. I was never able to communicate back to my inmate. now they don’t even allow me to request a refund

I have set up the app. Added $70 dollars. I have waited two days in the hopes of communicating to my boyfriend. I received one notification to communicate through HomeWav but nothing else. My internet is good and I have a good phone. Not sure what to do next. Not a useful service to me or my loved one. It has caused disappointment and tears.

HORRIBLE app, its issues non stop from my personal experience.

This is an app full of glitches but is unfortunately the only one of its type used by our county jail. It’s a shame because they have entirely eliminated face to face visits in favor of this app. I understand why, but it would be nice to have a replacement method that works. And doesn’t cost and arm and a leg to use. Lots of families who use this don’t have much income coming in , but it is soooo expensive. I think we have spent over two hundred dollars a month—for something that works so poorly. The same thing happens over and over. We can’t text the person nor receive their texts. That has happened multiple times despite following instructions to fix that bug. And many times, their call doesn’t not come through. Or the call comes in but one or the other of us can’t hear each other. I appreciate being able to have any contact, but this is giving our whole family major anxiety in a situation in which we already have enough of that. We aren’t the ones who broke the law. Please don’t punish us by making this season of incarceration of a family member so much harder.

I downloaded the app put all information in funded the account now it won’t let me login …basically took my money..RIDICULOUS

There are always dropped calls! In which I lose money for every attempt. It feels like a trap for retrieving money. We are trying to have a nicer way to communicate with our love ones. Not be charged just to breathe on the app. Highly disappointed. I would like to get my money back on unused minutes of not being able to speak or be heard from the other person on the other end and vice verse . Please FIX!!!

Every single time that I open the app, to answer a call, reply to a message, or to go write a message, it logs me out and I have to sign in again. For example, if I get a video call, I try and answer it, the app signs me out, I log back in, and then I’m unable to answer the call. The only way that I can actually answer, is if they call while I have the app open already. It’s been like this for a while. I would really like to not have to sign in 10+ times a day. It’s getting to be rather annoying not being able to answer calls as well

It constantly signs me out and this week it won’t even let me sign in it just keeps saying failed to fetch data. My Wi-Fi is fine. There are no issues on my end. I can’t even report bug, I can see my inmate calling but I can’t answer therefore they think I’m ignoring them! What is this! I’m so frustrated!

Wont let me connect with my friend. Says pending connection even tho is i try to look him up it says were already connected

Ever since the update last week, it logs me out every few minutes. That’s very inconvenient when someone is calling and I can’t answer because I have to log back in.

This app was doing good up until its update where all of a sudden my boyfriend can’t read my messages or I’ll send them and then I’ll sign back into the app later and the messages disappear and it’s just a blank text bubble. However the app still took my money, and I am not pleased with that at all because well money is very tight. I hope this gets fixed.

This app worked perfectly fine until I updated it a few days ago . Now I’m not even getting some of my calls at all, which makes my loved one think I’m ignoring them! My videos that I sent him are all coming up blank on his end and I paid for these videos! This stuff isn’t cheap and it’s basically highway robbery! Especially when it doesn’t even work right! I sent him 3-4 messages after that and they’re all blank messages now at least in my end . Please fix this issues! I spend every extra penny I have trying to make my babe smile , for some of us that’s all we have to get us thru! I tried reporting the issues and it tells me I have nothing to report on. It makes no sense! Please fix this
